IBM Premier Business Partner, ISW represents Tasmania in second annual CRN Fast50

Tasmanian owned software and technology company ISW, today announced that they have been named at number 18 in the highly coveted list of CRN’s Fast50. This is ISW’s first appearance on the list compiled by Australian IT publication CRN, and the first time a Tasmanian company has been listed. The list ranks Australian IT resellers and channel partners based on revenue growth, highlighting the “best and brightest” of the bunch.

ISW saw a revenue increase of 54.35% in the 2009-10 financial year, with the majority of growth coming from ISW’s IBM Software & Services business. ISW’s focus across the IBM Software portfolio has resulted in customers engaging ISW for complex end to end IBM solutions.

Ian Warner, Managing Director, outlined ISW’s national growth, “this is a culmination of a number of years of investment and hard work from the ISW team to execute our strategic focus and goal to create a nationally recognised IBM Software practice.”

Last financial year saw ISW generate significant growth in business from customers in all states and overseas. ISW has now developed an extensive national clientele and has a significant number of new projects in the pipeline, and the business is planning to further expand its technical capabilities throughout Australia.

ISW’s Executive Director, Adam Brown, attributed the growth to continual investment in people. “We continued to invest in our employee’s development as well as recruiting highly skilled people over the last few years, even though a lot of our competitors were holding back due to the GFC.”

“We have focussed on continual innovation and excellence in customer service, and in addition have re-affirmed our focus on IBM technologies expanding our business across the IBM Software Portfolio of WebSphere, Lotus, Tivoli, Rational, and Information Management. This strategy, and our people, has resulted in an outstanding result for FY10 and positions us well for further national growth in FY11.”

ISW was founded in 1996 and became an IBM Premier Partner in 1999. As well as operating in the IBM software and hardware channel, ISW is an independent software vendor, developing and selling a range of business process improvement software to clients across Australia.
